1st Apps LLC was created for the sole purpose
of designing and delivering innovative
add-on products for ACT!.
1st Apps first offering is Smart Notes for ACT!, a system designed to deliver and share information about
contacts and customers using a sticky note format.
Smart Notes was conceptualized by Alan Frankel of Resource Dynamics, Inc. and joined by Jim Durkin of Durkin Computing
as co developer and partner in bringing Smart Notes to market.
Together, Jim and Alan have nearly eighteen years of experience bringing exceptional productivity
enhancements to the ACT! marketplace.

Resource Dynamics has been providing it's flagship product, Tele-Support HelpDesk, since 1996.

Alan Frankel, 1st Apps Developer and CEO of Resource Dynamics, Inc., which was founded in 1991, the company has been
involved in contact management, sales automation, and add-on productivity solutions for ACT!,
GoldMine, and TeleMagic. Mr. Frankel has a 30 year career in systems design and analysis,
programming, system integration, and financial analysis. Mr. Frankel's entrepreneurial
spirit has taken him on many international assignments, including Kenya, India, Thailand, and Malaysia.
Jim Durkin, 1st Apps Developer and CEO of Durkin Computing has been developing ACT! add-ons since 2005.
Jim previously was President of Cornerstone Solutions from 1997 to 2004. Prior to Connerstone, JIm worked at Symantec.
